Round-Up of Days 1 – 7 of Wet Hair, Don’t Care’s 30 Day Outfit Challenge!!!

Wahooo!! We made it. I finally have gotten my act together to summarize day 1 through 7 of outfits for Wet Hair, Don’t Care’s 30 Day Outfit Challenge. Boy, this is going to be a doozy! Unfortunately, because some of the items I wore are so old (which is the point), I couldn’t locate them exactly out there, but I did my best! I am gonna start with purses and sunnies followed by day 7 and work my way back!

Summary of All the Sunnies & Purses:

The purses seen through my posts are both out, but here are some similar cross bodies whether they are the same brand or similar color. Hopefully, you find something that works!

All of the sunnies I’ve worn are still available!!

Day 7:

This badass workout outfit is pretty easy because it is actually still available. The top & workout leggings (which I live in as normal leggings too) are both from Lululemon. My black sports bra is from Old Navy and sunnies are Ray-Ban Wayfarers for Shopbop (see above). Finally, the running shoes are from Newton running, and they are awesome! Go to a local running store and check them out. Here is a summary with links 🙂

Day 6:IMG_0438

Spent the day at Wrigley in like 96º weather – staying cool, comfortable and dry were my priorities for the day. I like wearing hats in hot sunny weather not only to protect my face but any bad hair is instantly made cuter with a good hat!!! My Sperry’s and ’47 Brand Cubs hat are still out there, but the Lululemon dress is not available. I think I found good comparable ones (this is an athletic dress – you could play tennis in it, etc). I love this dress because since it is an athletic dress it’s drifit and so comfortable/cool. It’s definitely one of my number one summer go-to’s, especially in the heat. See above for similar purses to the Marc by Marc Jacobs cross body & the Ray-Ban aviators (those are available).

Day 5:

This one was hard because everything but the sunnies is SUPER old. Purse and sunnies see above. The dress is super special to me because my husband and I found it in the Castries market in St. Lucia on our honeymoon. I love the easy tropical casual look that this dress has – so hopefully the ones I picked out below capture that. The shoes and belt are super old from Aldo so again with all of these, I tried to find close seconds to everything.

Day 4:

IMG_0436This is another tropical themed dress – apparently, I really like that look, who knew? The sunnies & purse are above as usual :-). Also, this Amanda Uprichard dress is no longer available, but I’ve picked out some fun similar dresses.

Day 3:

Rounding out my work week I chose this easy shirt dress from Ann Taylor from last summer’s collection (so mer, not available). The hot pink belt is way old from Francesca’s. Watch is Michael Kors, surprisingly still available, with several options. Shoes are French Connection from DSW, and they are located in the center of the pic (still available)!! The statement necklace is not around any longer, but I found some awesome, inexpensive ones from Forever21 (where the original was from). My iPhone case is Sonix from Nordstroms. Sunnies see above 🙂

Day 2:

This dress is still AVAILABLE at J. Crew Factory on line!!! Wahoo!! And it has pockets (you know I love pockets). The shoes are Vince Camuto and are available – pictured top left, too. Sadly, my necklace is Tory Burch and WAY old; therefore, I found you all sorts of styles and prices for long necklaces! Aviators are at the top.

Day 1:

This was my first day, and it was so fun!! My good friend and I took so many pics even though I felt uncomfortable and awkward (getting over that slowly but surely – maybe lol). I got this Cynthia Rowley dress from TJ Maxx last summer for like $40. It’s amazing because you can wear it for so many reasons (work and play), and my number one reason it has pockets! The cream sweater is Banana Republic and from 2007 so ummm yea….not quite at the store anymore (btw I’m obsessed with the cream and black polka dot one down below). Finally, the twisted statement necklace is from Forever21 and from a couple years ago, but there are a lot of good comparisons out there! Shoes are the French Connection ones above from Day 3’s look and sunnies see top of course!

And so concludes my first recap of the month! It’s been super fun, and I’m really excited for the next 23 days to see what I cook up. I will say with the all the Labor Day Sales this weekend, it was hard to hold back shopping. I’m saving those 3 purchases for something really good though!! Let me know what you guys think, and I hope you keep following the Wet Hair, Don’t Care 30 Day Outfit Challenge. I hope you also get inspired to dig through your closet, too!

Peace out,

Wet Hair, Don’t Care
